Lemon Zucchini Loaf with Lemon Glaze

I replaced the canola oil for peanut oil. This is a very light cake so it has no butter and just a 1/2 cup of oil.

I was so looking forward for the experience of Orange/Carrot and Lemon/Apple!
And here they are!!!!!

Can you see the orange zest?
From the original recipe, I just replaced the zucchini for carrots and the lemon for orange. Same amounts.

And for the other one, I just replaced the zucchini for apple and kept the lemon
The glazes are lemon or orange, depending on the cake

They are also very good looking, aren't they :)

Receita em Português (Translation of the original by NancyCreative)

Pão (Bolo) de Courgette com Limão

Nota (minha): 1 cup= 235 ml

Ligar o forno a 180ºC.
Numa taça grande, misturar a farinha, o fermento e o sal. Reservar.

Christmas Portuguese King Cake

This is one of my brother's favorite cake, so I made this as a gift for his birthday on decembre 19th.
It's a Must have on every portuguese Christmas table!
I had mix a little from both King and Queen's recipes from Thermomix/Bimby main book and add some tamaras. I also used candied peach, mango and pineapple, so it turns some kind of a Tropical Royal Cake :)

Cookies - Testing Day

My husband has this theory. I'm addicted to cookies: not to eat it, but to make it!!!
The truth is that some recipes are perfect if we're talking about flavor and texture. But not all recipes produce cookies that keep their shapes after baked...and are crispy and delicious. And this is very important if you're making cookies to decorate.
So, the result of this testing day was: The Orange and Cinnamon Cookies are perfect for decoration; The White Chocolate Cookies are a 3 in a 5 (but they need more time in the oven) and The Fresh Ginger Lemon Cookies...well, you can decorate them but not with perfect results.
But after all, many moments in life are just so perfect...who need perfect cookies? ;)

Little Rings...or Little Balls?

Thermomix Recipe from the portuguese book "Do Convento para a Bimby"

The legend tells the nuns used to use lots and lots of eggwhites to starch their clothes so they need to create recipes to run out of all that egg yolks that abound on their conventual kitchens.
